Long Barrelled Revolver (LBR)
The Revolver has made a comeback in the last
few years after being banned in 1997, But in a different form.
It's now got a 12 inch barrel and a wrist brace making it 24 inches in overall
length, it's now called an LBR long barrelled revolver.

The most popular make is a Taurus and it comes
in several calibres .38, .357, .44, .45 and .45 ACP
the .38 and .357 have a seven shot cylinder the .44's and .45's a six shot. The
photo above right shows a Taurus .44 six shot.

Loading and reloading is done by pushing the cylinder out to the side of the frame ejecting the empty cases and dropping fresh rounds in.

They can be used with the original sights (marked
in the photo above), or Pistol Scopes and Red Dot sights.
The Revolver in the photos above is fitted with a Red Dot sight which displays a
dot in the tube for aiming but has no magnification.
A Pistol Scope has magnification which makes the target look closer but it's more difficult to find the target when looking through it.
