Phoenix A

The Phoenix A course of fire can be quite complicated if you're new to it but once you get the hang of it it's great.
It's shot from 25, 20, 15 & 10 metres using two targets and 40 rounds.

The first stage involves kneeling and sitting but after that it's all standing.

It's the only event were the shooter moves from one distance to the next carrying the rifle at "Trail"
Trail is carrying the rifle by your side at arms length while you advance to the shorter distance, you then make ready and start the stage.

Make ready means to load a round in to the barrel by whatever means the gun demands.
