The "1500" is a multi stage competition, it consists of 150 rounds, and it is possible to score 1500 points, hence the name.
The maximum score, has recently been achieved in the full-bore event at the Stourport "1500" meeting, in the summer of 2003 by a top shooter called Gwyn Roberts from the Wrexham & district club in North Wales. Congratulations to you Gwyn, for giving the rest of us something to aim for, but remember, you can be beaten on X rings!!
